It is a painting of Isabela’s late maternal grandfather Pedro who had died long before she and her sisters and cousins were born and before the events of Encanto. It is one of the two known images of him found in the family house Casita (near the stairways) before the house’s unfortunate destruction. It fate after that moment in her world is still unknown.
